JW-iPH-306(K29) online pH sensor is designed for continuous pH measurement in environmental water monitoring, acid and alkaline solutions, salt solutions, chemical reactions, and industrial production processes. With RS485 Modbus RTU output, automatic temperature compensation, IP68 protection, and 1/2 NPT installation, it can be easily integrated with PLCs, DCS systems, industrial controllers, paperless recorders, touch screens, and IoT water quality monitoring platforms.

4. Installation Notes

The pH sensor should not be installed upside down or horizontally. It should be installed at an angle of at least 15 degrees to ensure reliable electrode performance. The 1/2 NPT thread supports side-wall installation, top-mounted insertion, flow-through installation, pipeline installation, and submersible installation.

For long term operation in water, seawater, wastewater, or humid outdoor environments, all wiring joints should be waterproofed, and the user-side cable should have corrosion-resistant protection. Before power-on, check the wiring sequence carefully to avoid damage caused by incorrect wiring.

5. Maintenance Notes

Before measurement, rinse the sensor with distilled or deionized water and dry it with filter paper to avoid contaminating the sample. During measurement, approximately one third of the sensor should be inserted into the solution.

When the sensor is not in use, clean it and store it in a protective cap filled with 3 mol/L potassium chloride solution. Do not keep the sensor soaked in distilled water or protein solution for a long time, and avoid contact with silicone oil or grease. If deposits appear on the glass membrane after long term use, clean it with dilute hydrochloric acid and rinse with water.
