Product Description

1. Description

JWGas-VNI(Z15) VOC NOx Air Quality Sensor is designed for indoor air quality monitoring, ventilation control, air purification systems, and laboratory environmental monitoring. It measures VOC Index, NOx Index, temperature, humidity, and dew point, helping users evaluate indoor air quality changes and optimize air treatment systems.

Based on an integrated Sensirion SGP41 air quality sensor, the device uses a VOC and NOx index algorithm with humidity compensation. It supports RS485 Modbus RTU or SDI-12 V1.3 digital output, making it easy to connect with data loggers, IoT gateways, building automation systems, and remote monitoring platforms.

2. Product Overview

JWGas-VNI(Z15) VOC NOx Air Quality Sensor is a compact digital sensor for indoor air quality monitoring applications. It measures VOC and NOx air quality index values instead of directly outputting a traditional TVOC concentration value. This makes it especially suitable for applications where users need to track air quality trends, ventilation demand, odor events, air pollution changes, and indoor environmental comfort.

Unlike traditional MOX-based TVOC sensors that may output different equivalent TVOC values depending on gas composition and calibration conditions, this sensor uses a VOC and NOx index algorithm. The VOC Index reflects changes in VOC events compared with the recent indoor air background, while the NOx Index helps indicate nitrogen oxide events. According to the manual, the VOC Index and NOx Index both use a 1–500 index scale.

The sensor supports SDI-12 and RS485 Modbus RTU, so it can be integrated into smart building systems, HVAC systems, air purification equipment, environmental monitoring stations, and industrial IoT platforms.
