Product Description

1. Description

JW-XF200AS(YN16) Ultrasonic Wind Speed Direction Sensor is a compact wind monitoring device designed to measure wind speed and wind direction with no moving parts. It uses ultrasonic time-difference measurement technology to provide fast response, low maintenance, and reliable wind data for weather stations, smart agriculture, traffic weather monitoring, photovoltaic sites, wind power projects, marine applications, airports, bridges, and tunnels.

2. Product Overview

JW-XF200AS(YN16) ultrasonic wind sensor measures wind speed and wind direction by detecting the transmission time difference of ultrasonic signals in air. Compared with traditional mechanical wind sensors, it has no rotating parts, reducing mechanical wear and maintenance requirements.

With a compact structure, low power consumption, RS485 Modbus RTU output, IP65 protection, and 4Hz sampling frequency, the sensor is suitable for long-term outdoor wind monitoring. It can output real-time wind speed, wind direction, average wind speed, and average wind direction data for environmental monitoring systems and IoT weather platforms.

The sensor supports optional extended functions such as SDI-12, ASCII, NMEA protocol, CAN interface, electronic compass, tilt angle, and heating function, making it flexible for different project integration requirements.
